Merry Piglet is probably my least favorite of the North Wash canyons. The approach is elegant and fun, but the canyon itself it a series of quick chimney drops in a very short section. Experienced canyoneers can downclimb most of these, but if its your first time through, be careful. They have a bit of exposure and are a bit tricky.
After recent rain, I had one deep wade (avoidable with crimpy climbing on the left), and one very short (stroke or two) swim near the end.
