8.5hrs.C26, 85°sunny. LOTSA mud and water to shoulder depth. Took 5L water. The only anchor that we truly relied on was the final anchor and Rapel. It was two nuts and a pebble in a crack and of a highly directional nature me Nancy Brian Kristin Boone. Did the full Monty. The last Saxon, I’ll be at short was fabulous. Too much approach and hike back to repeat, but got great photos. Approach was trail-less. In retrospect it would’ve been good to hike in on the exit trail and just do the last section of slot and then return on the exit trail. The four-wheel-drive road is just a cow path and cannot be driven on. We walked around the upper repel and only repelled at the last repel. After the start of the final slot and before the final Apple, there is a tree with a choker. This is not the repel, although it is helpful for the down climb and negotiating the tree. Also, if you were wanting to reverse the route and avoid the final repel, leaving a tagline here would be a great idea. Once down the final repel into the pool, turn sharply back right and get above the initial cliff band in a notch behind the initial wall. Once on top work your way around contours and plan to spend some time figuring out how to get back to the common exit point. From there, it is just a huge slog out.
