1 trip Hyde Draw - Central Swell
Date: 05/16/2021
We started from our campsite on top of Hyde Draw Bluff. Very little water in the canyon, the entry potholes were completely dry. First rappel is nice and easy. Potshot the keeper, nailed it on my second toss. Set up a deadman's anchor on the final rappel. Time: 2.5 hours. Team: Jonnah, Dylan, and Kyle
1 trip North Fork of Iron Wash - San Rafael Swell
Date: 05/15/2021
A little water in this canyon but not much. Canyon walls are beautiful; lots of color and texture. Keeper was about waist deep. Downclimbed all sections of the canyon. A fixed line bridges the keeper, and there was also a hand line. Dylan climbed into the keeper with a fixed line to my pack. He went in to test water depth. He climbed back out and we decided to potshot the keeper. We ascended up canyon to first sand/rocks available. We filled two potshots 3/4 full. Dylan was successful with his second toss. I went into the Keeper and wasn't able to climb out with our line, it felt loose. I ascended with the fixed line. Jonnah escaped with a partner assist. I retied our line with bites closer together. Watched the potshot as Dylan ascended our line. Performed perfectly. Walkout is hot and climbing out of the canyon is steep! Time 4.5 hours. Team: Jonnah, Dylan, and Kyle
1 trip Cable Canyon - Southern Swell
Date: 05/23/2020
Got a late start (11:30am) but made good time up the Moroni Slopes. Canyon was mostly dry, particularly all the keepers. Escaped most keepers via partner assist and creative climbing. Used a potshot to escape the second set of keepers. Last rappel section was odd, weird rope pull. Beautiful canyon and would love to do it again with more water. Time: 6.5 hours Team: Dylan, Dave, Jamin, Blake, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip3 trip Lower Eardley Canyon - San Rafael Swell
Date: 05/03/2020
Much lower water level than previous trip (07/07/19). Sneaker route was easy to locate and traverse down. Water was pleasant, albeit a bit chilly. No wetsuit needed. Team: Dylan, Dave, Blake, Kyle.
1 trip Upper Three Fingers Canyon - San Rafael Swell
Date: 05/02/2020
Ok canyon. Hike in (and out) detract from the fun of the canyon. Mostly dry except for darkest section of the canyon and the last pool. Might be more fun with higher water levels. Views at the end are spectacular. Time: 4 hours. Team: Dylan, Dave, Blake, Kyle.
1 trip4 trip Upper Black Dragon Wash - Central Swell
Date: 05/01/2020
Beautiful rock and fun little jaunt. Drove into the swell early afternoon and enjoyed this canyon before setting up camp. Entered too early and missed some of the best section of the canyon. Water level was really low (mostly dry). Wore a wetsuit. Set up my first anchor ever without help (wrap 1) around a small arch in the rock, lookers right of the fall; final rappel. Looks like the previous anchor was around a juniper tree. Tree was pulling away and previous canyoneerers removed the webbing from this spot. Time: 1.5 hours. Team: Dylan, Dave, Blake, Kyle.
1 trip The Black Hole of White Canyon - Hite
Date: 09/22/2019
Loved this canyon! Great approach, great exit, and beautiful rock. Jamin did the entire canyon sans wetsuit, everyone else had theirs on. The entrance carved into the sandstone floor is so rad, and the long dark swim is very memorable. Will definitely do again. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Jamin, Kyle.
1 trip East and West Cheesebox Canyon - Cedar Mesa
Date: 09/21/2019
Did full West Fork. Created an anchor with Jamin's help off a small tree; wrap two, pull one. Rap was overhanging and fun. Enjoyed the canyon. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Jamin, Kyle.
1 trip3 trip Lower Eardley Canyon - San Rafael Swell
Date: 07/07/2019
Sneaker route is easy to locate but has some exposed moves at the top (traversing left to right) to get to the rappel stations. Fun canyon, lots of jumping into clean water. No wetsuit needed. Time: 6 hours. Team: Dylan, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip Upper Greasewood - San Rafael Swell
Date: 07/06/2019
Set up camp at the entrance to Greasewood (Hyde Draw). Great campsite, feels remote. Greasewood was full of water, optional rappels or jumps (preferred to jump). Hike out felt like a slog but the views at the end of the canyon are gorgeous. Time: 5 hours. Team: Dylan, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip Lupacchiotta Canyon - Central Swell
Date: 07/05/2019
Rolled into the Swell early Friday afternoon and did this canyon before setting up camp. Good route finding skills are needed. Canyon has a few scenic spots but is bland and not worth doing again. Time: 2.5 hours. Team: Dylan, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip Zero G Canyon - San Rafael Swell
Date: 05/30/2016
Last canyon of the Memorial Day weekend, also my first canyoneering trip. Fun times, full of water. Backflipped off the arch at the beginning of the canyon. Downclimbed the last rappel into the pool. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Logan, Lily, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip Blue John Canyon - Robbers Roost
Date: 05/28/2016
Did Little Blue John. Slot sections were beautiful. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Logan, Lily, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.
1 trip Morocco Canyon - North Wash
Date: 05/27/2016
Second canyon ever, did this right after finishing Hogwarts. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Logan, Lily, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.

First canyon ever! Nervous on the first rap, got used to it after, very fun. Team: Dylan, Todd, Megan, Logan, Lily, Jamin, Jonnah, Kyle.
