One of the newer Iron County roadside attractions, the Dino Prints were marked in 2014 and offer a quick side trip for those on the way to Parowan Gap. I had passed this area many times without realizing the prints where there. Be sure to visit Parowan Gap while in the area.
Side Note: If you are a climber, there are climbs on the cliff band above the dinosaur print. These are sport routes, and mostly in the 5.11 and up range. There is OK primitive camping in the area.
Getting There
Take exit 78 off of I-15, at the town of Parowan. Go south off the highway on Main Street, and go right (west) on 400 North. It crosses under the freeway after about 0.8 miles and becomes Gap Road. Continue on for another 7.6 miles to the signed parking area a short distance off the road on the right. This is about 2 miles before (east) of Parowan Gap.
Route
From the trailhead, follow the gravel paths to the prints. There are two different boulders with reverse dino prints on them.
