A wonderfully wet adventure. I lost the lighter so we were doomed to eat uncooked food but all was forgotten following pipes that lead to knotted rope. Practiced some pack tosses but no need, the water was so high. Great time until we mistakenly took the muddy creek exit. We were immediately attacked by swarms of flies and had to cover ourselves in mud like in the Predator movies just to survive. Slog back to the campsite was brutal. Great canyon, and I found the lighter when we returned.

Great canyon that was too short. Pool was easy to stem over but could get complicated depending on conditions. Very beautiful! With phil

Comando Phil completed it in record time. Weather was PERFECT and the down climbing was way better than anticipated. Water was beautiful and log jams were minimal. Dutch flat tires waited for us at the car and beers to follow. Great day. Oh yeah, ran 20 miles before doing the canyon. Oops

Amazing time with juhl Phil and Lauren for juhls be day. Perfect camp spot and very playful and maxed on water canyon. The hike was a bit hot and the optional shortcut rap was necessary. Car did not start the next day so Phil smacked the starter with the but of the axe a few times and then it started working. He also got a suburu legacy back to the camp site. Great wet time. BIG JON and god shine upon us .

Great outing with just juhl! Had a great beautiful hike and can be done without a rope, though the last rap might be pretty scary with no rope. Found out my rope is at least 40feet long which is nice and we saw a million cute frog goes . Mostly just a great hike but the narrows we’re cooler than I expected. Sus anchor on the final rap.

June during a heatwave is too hot (103). Done with Chris and Mel. They did great and no rope is needed. Wish there was a pool but sadly nothing. Nissan Al gieb

Good fun once more. Went the low way in the pot holes. Phil and May FORGOt to tell me we were doing wetsuites . How disrespectful. The potholes are so beautiful and charactered but the water was extra cold for me.

Phil has inspired me to write a bit more in my ticks. Second day of my trip with May and Phil. Mat stayed back but I am sure he could do it. We opted for no rope and with a bit of route finding managed to find out way down. The first 3 down-climbs are short but maybe the most difficult/awkward. The last 2 look intimidating but we’re awesome. Especially the last multistage stem adventure. Would repeat just to do that section again. The walk out was short but a slog because of all the hiking we did the day before. Phil is a good down climber. Guy we met at zero g said this can be upclimbed which sounds fun.

Nice and sunny walk down to happy canyon with Phil and mat. As is typical we lemented our jobs and wish we could pursue creative endeavors. We go back to work on Monday. Also I won in light up bachi ball. With an amazing toss through the hole in the rock.

Good fun with everyone in tow to celebrate getting married in June. Very cool, very tight, I think I stemmed around the most tight portions so I did not get full value. That being said, still had to breath through a few sections. Sean did it in shorts and destroyed his knees and it was Trinas very first canyon and did it no problem. David will get it next time for sure. Excited for more in the future. Glad Michael, sean, and phil stayed.

Put a fixed rope on ramp since I was doing this solo. I considered just doing the rap but fortunately I took the advice and scoped the end of ramp. I think it is kind of like west slab. With friends the climb out would have been a bit sketchy but fun. Solo it felt very spooky. Especially because the webbing left behind was ancient and I wish I had my knife to remove it. As I decended I forgot there would be a 3rd class walk around and I got tight butt hole when I thought I might have to accent or go get my rope. Then I found the walk around. Easy but very chossy. Solo scary. Friends = fun. Then the walk between canyons requires very legitimate route finding. I am pretty good with a topo and I would have been freaking out if I did not have my gps. Won’t be doing this one again. Onward to buckhorn to climb with Eric and company.

Down Cassidy again so soon. It was Liam’s 30th and we took Alex, Tim, ray and Brandt. Met garret and someone else who were very nice. Cold but fun for ray and brandts first time. Learned a thing or two about rope pulls, friction, and helmets.Alex went up then back down the bridge because of fomo. Rad time in the A frame.

Last bit before heading home from the Liam and jack Monkey Biz trip. Did it in 1:14. Each time you stem the slots it seems higher and more punishing... you are just getting older. Phil in his underwear and was evil to lead Taylor through the canyon 8 years ago.

Dooooooooope canyon for the trip. Jack ripped his pants open and the first rap with the natural anchor down low was cool. IT bands are screaming. Denver Davis and Catherine (?) have a long drive to go.

End of day quick hike. Phil Liam and jack climbed the extra curricular chimney. Jack was extremely comfortable on it. Enough that I was scared. Sandals were a bad choice .

Liam Phil and jack. Good time . Quick and simple. My knee hurts. Meat at the car and 1 cold beer is essential. Pearl and Lil Jack need to hook up.

Jack is a scared man but did great. Travis put his shirt in that car.

First time with jack. He did great!

Did hog 1 with Eric juhl Nahuel and Val. Way cooler than I thought and tight.

Excellent. Way more action than I expected and quite dark.

First canyon for Nahuel and Val. Eric joined us too. Cool new canyon crew. Try to go under the initial log. More fun than you think.

Liam’s first time. Set a land speed record. GVKE year 13

WARNING: Initial pool is filled with pee that emptied from Mats flubby and chubby wetsuit ankles. Extreme fun is to be had throughout the canyon and no pack toss was needed due to easy jump or climb to advance past the obstacle. Liams first canyon and I think it did not disappoint especially after him and Mat went through the special hole slide drop at the first pool. Beware sounds of Lankum as to descend into the horrors that await or simply stay on the surface and take a swim at lake Powel.

A pleasant end to a long journey in Coli. Canyon can be descended with webbing and no harness. Unmentioned climb at the very end was the clear crux. Will Smith would have not slapped this canyon. Great activity to do if you need a distraction from Hacky Sack.

Did middle fork after the long Coli Odyssey. Grand time. Hardest part was the small climb at the very very end of it.

Did this with almost no water in the pools. Made for an OK time. I would like to head back and try this again with water in it. Still fun to do with Steve after we floated the green. Finding the last rap was the most fun part.

The Egypt 2 bench at the wet river was the highlight. Good warm up to ascending egypt 3

Did Raven. Owl friend found in pot hole and was harder and headier than I had expected. The potholes were hardest for me.

You can also fit through at 191lbs

Awesome downclimbs and replaced deadman on last rappel. Turns our Nalgene bottles are not indestructible.

More fun than beta suggests. Fun downclimbs and stemming. Ryan eats weird icecream. Parkour spiral staircase is the best move.

Great canyon. Ryan, please remove the rattle snake in the 5th pothole. K Thx.

First rap is awesome. Canyon Colby made an appearance and was nearly lost in his own madness when attempting to comprehend the mind of "whacky canyoneers".

Enjoyable canyon for Dylan's first time visiting. Mini me and dr evil dropping in.

Is this the Grim crawl? Take only people who are good. It's amazing but could be more narrow. Forget hydro phobia

Stem city. R rates bonus cool too but had to save Matt and Phil. Always bring two things of webbing. Go back and do the waterfall rappel that is not in the beta.
