Took 6.5 hours point to point. River was cold but easy to ford. Fairly strenuous approach hike. Saw a tarantula and a bighorn sheep while in the canyon. So much fun! |

very difficult approach with a 1500 ft elevation gain. rap 9 is sketchy as hell, it is just knotted webbing shoved into the rock cracks, definitely recommend a meat anchor. must cross the Virgin River at the beginning and end of the approach and exit. pretty cold, but you dry off quickly on the climb up. all anchors are natural so you should know how to assess anchors well, or bring someone you does. |

Actually started up at Portal, but that canyon wasn't an option. 8 people, 12 hours. |

Gnarly approach, some sketchy dead-man anchors. But unique and fun. |

Natural anchors and webbing were all in good shape. Canyon was dry and chilly. Approach is steep and exposed following the hike in the wash. Were able to move quickly with four people using three ropes (200ft, 140ft, 100ft) and knocked it out over 4.5 hours. |

Went in thinking there were only 4-5 rappels, ended up being 17. Hiked out at night. |
