Beautiful canyon for what it was. A couple of short up climbs that could be challenging for those who don’t climb. The most challenging part was finding the path between chute and crack canyon- good navigation skills necessary. We did chute first, then crack, but the beta recommends the opposite way. I’d recommend chute as an out and back to any ability. Epic views, easy walking. Just need high clearance to access. |

Crack some nice narrows and a few easy down climbs. Pretty canyon and was a nice hike. |

So crowded which ultimately made it pretty unenjoyable. We stopped at the larger drop off given time and overall lack of enthusiasm for the hike. |

Great hike! Bypassed the deep pools of water as Ryan suggests -- directions were spot-on! |

Not sure why labeled class 4. only around 3 minor obstacles to get over. Mostly walked and talked through this one. Very pretty and deep though. |

A great canyon. Saw 5 or 6 others. Once you get past the second grand narrow area there's a gaping hole where the canyon takes a huge 90 degree turn left. We had 2 water-filled obstacles that were great challenges for us young guys. The others we saw didn't try them. But getting through was worth it. The second high-walled narrow area is the coolest part of the canyon. Word to the wise - don't park at the sign - you can go on the dirt road a good little ways until you come to wood fences. It'd save you 20-40 min. |
