rumbling thunder on approach had us a bit nervous but figured short narrows. very pretty. had lunch below at picnic tables where it did rain and was quite unpleasant by the time we were ready to walk out |

Wonderful. 4 raps in water flow. Avoid algae at bottom of R4 RDC. 800’ of gain using standard approach. |

Went to Benson Creek after we got rained out at Zion for Tammy's Heaps trip. We did Benson on the way home. Tammy Tucker and Ryan Thatcher were along for the journey. Hike is pretty steep, at the top we found a GeoCache. Water flow in canyon was perfect. |

lots of people, still less than 2 hours. killer climb out. fun, scenic |

Shawn, Lance, and I - 3.5 hours. would be much shorter but took a while deciding where to scramble up at couple steep places in the approach. It was good that we started early (8:30) so we were in the shade during the approach. |
